Sam is the person to contact with any information requests regarding supervision, becoming a supervisor or setting up a peer support group.
My role within the PHN is to ensure that all members regularly attend supervision and meet their membership requirements. I support hypnotherapists wishing to become supervisors and those who want to set up peer support groups in their area. Whilst supervision is a requirement, engaging in supervision can really help you to feel supported personally and professionally within your practice. Being a hypnotherapist can be quite a solitary existence and the camaraderie of a regular peer support group can be a wonderful addition to your working life. When we stay up to date with the latest research and use it to inform our practice, as well as attending regular supervision, everyone benefits – our clients, ourselves and the hypnotherapy profession as a whole.
Horsemanship is my passion, so upon qualifying as a Clinical Hypnotherapist with Adam Eason, I formed Free Your Mind Horsemanship with horse trainer Philippa Unwin. Together, we offer Rider Confidence Courses, Coaching and Mentoring. I use evidence-based techniques to help our clients achieve their personal and horsemanship goals. Whatever changes we want to make in our lives, mindset is key and self-hypnosis is a fabulous tool in obtaining and maintaining the right mindset for success.
